Or send it a DM
Tasks you would rather not post in a channel go to Ara's direct messages. Attach a screenshot, a PDF or a voice memo and Ara reads it.
The result comes back in the thread
Files and charts are attached to the reply. A link opens the run record: what Ara read, what it did, how long it took and what it cost.
You approve in Slack
An action you put under review, such as sending email, stops and posts an approval card. It runs only after a person presses Approve.
It posts on a schedule
Say "Every Monday at 9, post the weekly report here" once. Ara posts it in that channel every week.

Start in three steps
Get the app and connect Slack
Download Ara and create your account in the app. When it asks where your team talks, choose Slack and press Add to Slack. You become the admin of your company's Ara.
Invite it to a channel
Type /invite @Ara in the channel where you want it to work. Ara never joins a channel on its own.
Give it a job
Mention @Ara with a task, for example: find every deal that has gone quiet for 3 weeks and draft a follow-up for each.
What Ara can see in Slack
The channels it was invited to, the threads it is mentioned in, and its own direct messages. It hears a channel only when it is mentioned there.
It never reads a private channel it is not in, anyone's direct messages with other people, or group DMs. It never joins a channel or posts where it was not invited. We never train models on your data.
